  sorry for the previous post..... i fat fingered and can't figure out how to delete it.... .

  i want a tattoo, but i want it to make a statement.

  and that statement is that i think the jw's are a cult and bad in all ways.

  I dunno hon. I hear where you're coming from. But just the simple the fact you're going to get a tattoo is a statement enough against the WTS. My suggestion is to get something that represents YOU. The new you. Your personality. Your being.

  I know the WTS was a part of your life then, but to me, it's carving more bad memories into your flesh. We already have it carved in our psych.

  I'm a female. When I left the WTS I got tattoos. It was more crossing a threashold into a new life thing for me. I chose armbands on each side with a tribal but fem design. I placed my tattoos there because it's more of a statement... "I'm free to do as I wish. F**K U"......yes and I'm still happy with mine.

  Can somebody explain the changes I read in the WT??

  my grandmother asked me to read to her so i asked her what she wanted me to read.

  was the watchtower, but she specfically asked for the one with "the timeline.

  it for a few days and apparently hasn't read up.

  I started reading it last night but was too tired to finish. Too busy today so I bookmarked the issue to fully grasp the nonsense for future just in cases.....with family....

  Am I mistaken? Did I see on another thread mention of a rapture type thing happening with the annointed?

  so things are not making sense at all here in my fade.

  as i had posted earlier, i had a long intense talk the other night with my husband where i thought it was crystal clear just where i'm at right now with the wtbts.

  then, the same week, he's not feeling well and asks me to take the kids to the mid-week meeting.

  Hubby I'm sure he's just trying to do the "so called" right thing (head of household, guilt, fear, etc.).If I were you I'd totally sex & cook him up. I'm sure he'll forget all about the rest after a while!

  It worked on my ex husband. But we ended up spliting for different reasons as he was a drinker..

  i stopped going to the meetings last september and told them that i didn't want to be badgered.

  to be fair, they have not visited or called in nine months, apart from passing on their hello's to my wife and daughter who still attend.

  anyhoo, i have had a fair amount of time to do pretty much what i have wanted over the past 9 months and so i have just finished my book.

  Quick update on sharing TTATT with my friend

  yesterday morning i got a message from my friend, the one i shared ttatt with last week and she wanted to meet for coffee.

  this is the story/friend i'm referring to http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/251494/1/ha-take-that-watchtower-one-less-borg-for-you.. i was really nervous because since our initial visit she had told me that two of her other jw friends wanted to talk to me.

  after a little more prodding she admitted that her friends didn't accept what their own wt said about god's name and they wanted to talk to me to "bring me back to the truth.".

  -So freggin true! I recall either last year or the year before wiki was accurate about a lot daming information about the WTS. It had even mentioned somthing about the GB member Leo Greenless who was a child sex abuser and the other GB (not Ray) member who was also DFed or lost his position.....(but they left Ray Franz) and deleted the info about the others.......

  You know, that's one reason why I truly believe the WTS does come on JWN to spy. There's been quite a few thread qouting from Wiki daming info about the WTS. It's been a year or so since this has happened so it was due to the FDS nu lite.

  As memory serves Josephus is not considered trust worthy documentation by true historians. This is one of many reasons why. Check for yourself.

  According to this the Roman historian Tacitus does mention Christ. Info is limited and he's the only one so far that I found.
